About Tomboy MineThe site is mostly ruins now. It is located directly below Imogene Pass. The opening photo shows the upper terminal of the tram for the Smuggler-Union Mine, located directly below the Tomboy; the tram was powered by the hydro-electric plant shown in the Telluride opening photo. The photos below give an idea of the condition of the few remaining structures at the site.
